Chronbach alpha: for the Global Condom Use Self-efficacy measure 0.79, technical skills ( .84), image confidence ( .82), emotion control ( .77), purchase ( .78), assertiveness ( .76), and sexual control ( .65).
Construct validity. "As a control of the validity of the findings with this combined intention measure the data were also analyzed with consistency of condom use as the dependent variable in the sexually experienced sample."
